Hello There…

Well, here it is. My first blog ever and my first post.  Riseandset is a place for me to share my ideas, thoughts, and experiences from everyday life.  The name riseandset came from the old saying that no matter what happens in our lives we can always count on the sun to rise and set, and anything else is a wash.  I’m a bit of a workaholic and I am going to make it a point to talk about social media, advertising, public speaking, traditional media and emerging marketing tactics.  Of course things going on in my life, relevant media topics and current happenings will make it into my posts as well.
